Chocolate Brownies (Laura Wu)
- 185g dark chocolate
- 50g white chocolate
- 50g milk chocolate
- 185g butter
- 3 large eggs
- 275g golden caster sugar (or regular white sugar is also ok)
- 85g plain flour
- 40g cocoa powder
Instructions:
- Preheat oven 180ºC (350ºF)
- Butter and line an 8in tin/2 in deep
- Melt dark chocolate with butter and leave to cool
- Whisk eggs with golden caster sugar until thick and double volume
- Pour cooled chocolate mixture on top and fold
- Sift plain flour with cocoa powder and fold
- Stir chopped white and milk chocolate pieces
- Pour into tin and bake for 25 minutes (we usually do an extra 5, check, and even more time if necessary)
- When it comes away from the sides, it is ready
