Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 4 cups oats
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, mix canola oil, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well blended.
- In a separate bowl combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into the sugar mixture.
- Mix in the oats and chocolate chips last.
- Drop large rounded spoonfuls onto a prepared cookie sheet.
- Bake for 12 minutes.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before moving to a wire rack to cool completely.
